According to Friday’s New York Post, De Niro confirmed that he and Scorsese want to explore what vigilante/loner Travis Bickle has been up to for the last 30 years. "I was talking with Martin Scorsese about doing what I guess you’d call a sequel to TAXI DRIVER, where he is older," De Niro, who’s now 61, told journalists. Be curious to see what Bickle thinks of Times Square today; the one featured in the original film, filled with grindhouses and smut parlors, gave way to Disney, Applebee’s and B.B. King!
